SCAA was pleased to have once again been invited to participate in Shanghai’s Earth Day event. Organized by the Rainbow Bridge International School, in collaboration with the Shanghai Zoo and the Chinese government, this year’s 4th Annual Earth Day celebration attracted thousands of visitors from Shanghai’s local and international communities.
Shanghai Earth Day is part of the global Earth Day initiative to promote awareness of environmental issues through fun and educational activities. SCAA volunteers were on hand to help spread the message that being a responsible global citizen means respect for our planet and the people and the animals sharing its limited resources.
An important part of making our city (and indeed every city!) a better place for everyone is helping control the pet population, and preventing unwanted litters of kittens and puppies from being abandoned, by spaying or neutering your pet. For useful, bilingual information on spay and neuter click here to download our de-sex your pet brochure. Help spread the message of responsible pet ownership.
We would like to thank our volunteers and community supporters for helping raise funds to neuter a foster cat. Every donation and operation counts.
